We Hope that the judge brand this three Salvadorians as criminals and place their name in the international list of paedophile, criminals rapist and place them under monitored for ever and each time they travel abroad out of El Salvador Territory where they can not be protected from political or money influence.
The 3 Salvadorians offenders will face between 15 and 21 months in prison on the charged offences. Can't the attorney George Hodge increase the year's sentence, please?
It will make the Salvadorian territory a safer place to live at least for the Salvadorian children. It will sent a strong message to the sons of prominent Salvadorians politicians (and of course their parents) that by any circumstance they can not do their crimes where justice prevail since in El Salvador crimes such as this are not penalised.
Judge ponders bail for 3 accused of forcing teens to have sex on ship
ST. THOMAS - Three Salvadoran men suspected of committing a sexual assault on a cruise ship listened Wednesday as their relatives, including a high-ranking government official from El Salvador, asked a federal judge to set bail in the case.
U.S. Magistrate Geoffrey Barnard did not immediately rule on the bail request for 22-year-old Alexander Nabih Kanawati, 22-year-old Andrew Parker Wein and 26-year-old Javier Miguel Westerhausen. The cruise passengers have been accused of sexually tormenting a 17-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl on the high seas, and all face charges of assault with intent to commit rape and simple assault.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Cohen asked Barnard to deny bail to the three men. Cohen argued that they were flight risks because El Salvador does not have an extradition treaty with the United States.
If they returned to their home country, "there would be no way for the court to get them back here for trial," Cohen said.
Wein's father, Rodolfo Antonio Parker Soto, is a prominent lawyer and vice president of El Salvador's legislative assembly.
He told the judge he would put up $100,000 (100 thousands dollars) in cash as a bail bond, and take personal responsibility for ensuring that his son appeared in the Virgin Islands for every court proceeding.
Soto, who once ran for president of El Salvador as leader of the Christian Democratic Party, said his son is in law school, and missing any more classes could result in his having to repeat a year.
Westerhausen's relative, the owner of a large construction company in Puerto Rico, said he would post bond and take custody of the 26-year-old, who would remain in Puerto Rico while awaiting trial.
Public Defender Jesse Gessin asked Barnard to release Kanawati, a U.S. citizen, on an unsecured bond after the 22-year-old's mother and sister said they would act as custodians, either in El Salvador or, if necessary, on St. Thomas.
The men face between 15 and 21 months in prison on the charged offenses, according to Wein's attorney, George Hodge.
The defendants were arrested when Norwegian Cruise Line's Dawn docked in Havensight on March 20.
Two teenagers told federal investigators that after the Dawn sailed from the British Virgin Islands into international waters on March 16, the three Salvadorans forced them into Kanawati's cabin, then intimidated them into drinking tequila and having sex with each other, according to an affidavit filed by FBI Special Agent Jackson Purkey.
The men took pictures and Westerhausen and Kanawati sexually touched the girl, the teens said, adding they felt they had no choice but to comply with the men's demands.
When Kanawati grabbed the girl and tried to take her into the bathroom, the boy demanded he stop, warning him what he was doing was rape, according to Purkey's affidavit.
The teens reported the ordeal to their parents after leaving Kanawati's cabin.

Que dices? Personas llenas de Dios? COn todo respeto amigo (a) estas bien equivocado. Una persona llena de Dios no anda haciendo cosas indebidas. No tiene mente perversa,sucia , etc.....dejen de defenderlos que en todo caso caen en la categoria de PEDOFILOS y yo se bien el caso que tanto se quiere ocultar y SII tienen evidencias en las fotos que tomaron. Aparte que es un crucero de gente con clase para que vayan hacer eso mejor se hubieran ido a CANCUN alli no les dicen nada si quieren tener sexo en donde se les ocurra pero porfavor, en un crucero hacer ese SHOWCITO? noombre en que cabeza cabe? Y mas si dicen que son gente estudiada y de cache............que decepcionante. De una forma u otra ya quedaron fichados de por vida, aunque se escapen de ser prisioneros, la mala imagen es algo que dificilmente se recupera . Ya quedan marcados con "antecedentes penales ó actos indebidos etc" ante el mundo ...........!!!

Segun la ley tu eres inocente hasta que lo compruebes, lo que quiere decir es que el fiscal te esta acusando de un hecho delictivo que has cometido y esa acusacion es parte el estado por medio de los fiscales, el acusado tiene que poner abogados para demostrar que es inocente,pero la acusacion ya es un hecho, en el caso de estos tres salvadorenos ellos ya estan archivados que cometieron una agresion sexual, por otro lado en un juicio no existe dios. En el salvador todos los acusados qur pertenecen a una clase oputenta o tratan de aparentar siempre sacan a un dios, sinonimo de salvacion para sus hechos delictivos.

Los Hijos son el reflejo de sus padres.... quien sabe lo que vieron en sus casas para llegar a cometer semejante DELITO.
Si no conocen de las leyes estadounidenses (US Virgin Islands)..ese un delito GRAVE en el cual han habido casos similares adonde los delincuentes han tenido que cumplir penas hasta de 15 años... mas cuando se trata de "asalto con intento de violacion de un menor de edad bajo influencias del alcohol".
Yo conozco personalmente a 2 de los acusados, y son unos muchachos prepotentes y arrogantes mas aun cuando toman... la verdad es una lastima que hayan sido tan"inmaduros y cochinos" pues no son ningunos niños. Q sea lo que Dios quiera.. pero definitivamente se merecen lo que estan pasando y espero que se les condene por varios años.

La verdad me parece denigrante a lo que se ha llegado con la juventud. Estos tres niños los conosco en persona desde hace mucho. Como es posible que tengan corazones tan sucios, mentes tan cochinas, pero claro como tienen a papito y mamita que les da de todo y que haran hasta lo imposible por sacarlos del relajo en el que se han metido. La verdad pido a DIOS que los metan presos, como se les ocurre hacerle esos a menores de edad. Siempe habra justicia para personas enfermas como ustedes. Para DIOS nada es imosible, ni nada es oculto.
